Established in 1957, Eldorado Polo Club is located in the heart of California. Eldorado Polo Club – The Polo Heaven. It has the glamour of Los Angeles and Palm Springs. The polo land was bought by an assembly of 11 polo players; Willie Tevis, Gayle Medicott, Willis Allen, Peter Hitchcock, Erwin Anisz, Bob Haney, Bill Gilmore, Ted Pierce, Larry Taylor, L.C. Smith, and Frank Yurria. The first home of EPC bought by this assembly was the Palm Desert Land but later on, it was shifted to Indio, California. Throughout the year, polo grew and many successful players played polo on the fields of EPC. 

Features:

Located in Indio, California, the club is an attraction place both for guests and players. It gives a beautiful view of the Coachella Valley. Eldorado polo club is a mixture of tradition and innovation, old and new style which is now known as Desert Polo. The polo season runs from January to March. It consists of 10 polo fields, a clubhouse, a stick and ball field, a mile-long exercise track, a sand arena, a tack store, on-site stabling for over 500 horses, and its very famous Cantina Restaurant. In short, Eldorado Polo club is a complete package with its many features. In the off-season, the club holds the Coachella Festival and Stagecoach with the partnership of Goldenvoice. The club also hosts smaller events that attract tourists from all over the country. Such events bring profit that helps in maintaining the club. These also help in organizing events.

Polo Playing Opportunities:

When it comes to opportunities for polo-playing, the club never goes in shortage of supply or services. According to the club’s polo manager, all 10 fields are used. Almost five to six fields are used every Sunday at the same time for polo matches. The club offers polo for all levels, ranging from peewee level to 12-goal. The club also offers matches like competitive women’s, senior and youth polo, and pro polo. EPC is a place where you can find all types of polo.  

Eldorado Polo Magazine: 

The club prints a yearly magazine known as, Eldorado Polo Magazine. It features all the yearly events, memberships, and tournaments. It also includes the names of their professional players and pictures of their fields.

Cantina Restaurant: 

Eldorado Polo Club offers an exquisite dining place called, Cantina Restaurant. Cantina restaurant offers a wide range of menu that includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also includes a fully stocked bar with your favorite sports playing on the big screen. You can enjoy yourself with the polo players or make special memories with your friends and family. Enjoy your favorite meal or drink with the perfect view. 

So, overall Eldorado Polo Club or EPC is a perfect place for polo lovers and polo players. You can enjoy the view, play the game or watch your favorite players playing it.
